Facebook today, which network tomorrow?

I joined Facebook today too, on personal recommendation, and partly as I cannot stand another eye-straining, web design train wreck MySpace layout (although there is hope), despite it’s single over-riding plus - it’s weight of community numbers.

If the daily trip to and from work, weekly shop and trips to our local town or city centre doesn't show any real environmental change, then who is to say that anything is wrong in the world?Even the blogosphere isn't safe

Death threats have moved one blogger to lie low. Keeping safe online extends to blogging too, not giving away too much personal information. But then that's part of the freedom of blogging?

BT's charge of £4.50 to anyone who doesn't make their lives easier by paying by Direct Debit is a mean, unjustifiable and excessive fee that BT have made a PR hash of.

OK that's a little harsh, I think it's probably a mixture of reasons. But when you read articles like: "Dying Forest: One year to save the Amazon", it makes you wonder what will become of the human race.

There is enough waste and bureacracy in this world without big companies flying in the face of common sense and an ever-receding ntaural world, sending out hundreds of pages of mobile billing, and that's per customer!
