Keep your headlines simple

Newspaper headlines in print can be quickly associated and placed in context along with surrounding images, graphics and sub-headings. But frequently online only headlines are are seen initially, meaning their composition is a key to that stories popularity.

Death threats have moved one blogger to lie low. Keeping safe online extends to blogging too, not giving away too much personal information. But then that's part of the freedom of blogging?

How does the print journalsim world adjust to the new media age of "citizen journalism", bloggers from all corners suddenly having a voice, opinion, a say on local and national issues and stories?
